We are your local independent award-winning bakery, proudly based on the high street of Earlsdon in Coventry. We specialise in artisan baked goods and fresh bread, all lovingly baked on the premises.

What began as an at-home bakery has steadily grown into a bustling shop where we dedicate our time to crafting incredible, flavourful breads and sweet treats every Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning. 

Founded in 2023 by Charlotte and Daniel, Lily & Fox Bakery now serves the Earlsdon community we are so proud to be a part of. As a family business with strong ties to the area: Charlotte grew up in Earlsdon, where she and Daniel first met over 20 years ago. Now, we live locally with our two young children, who are such an important part of our journey.

Our bakery was born from an obsession with good food. We are passionate about making delicious artisan baked goods without the additives so often found in mass-produced bread.

The name Lily & Fox holds a special place in our hearts. "Lily" is our daughter's middle name and the name of Charlotte's great-grandmother, who was a baker in Coventry in the 1950s. "Fox" is our son's middle name and the surname of Daniel's late uncle, who was a big part of his life. Naming the bakery after them felt like the perfect tribute. We wanted to create a business that balances quality, community, and time for our family, and we hope that passion shines through in everything we do.

You'll know us either from the big queues outside our shop every weekend, or the bold words 'FRESH BREAD', on our front window, underneath our traditionally designed Lily & Fox Bakery sign, all hand painted on glass and wood. When you get in you will see everything in action, as our bakers (we're currently a team of 4 with Lysa & James) prepare, mix and bake all of our wonderful items right there on site, listening to our ever-eclectic Spotify playlist and making sure to bag up whatever baked delights you want (if we have any left of course!)

Our bakery is open three days a week, from 8:30am on Thursdays & Fridays and 9.30am on Saturdays. We stay open until around lunch time unless we sell out (we often do). Everything is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Be it our delicious House Sourdough, famous cinnamon buns, our well-loved and incredible tasting focaccia bread or our ever rotating sweet treats such as cheesecakes, brownies, cookies, cakes, hot coffee and more.

We have an incredible retail section in store as well, filled with incredible local and ethically sound products like Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Honest Toil, our coffee beans from nearby Monsoon Estates, candles from Kip Candle Co., Honey from Honeyfields Bee Farm in Aldermans Green and chocolate from Fatso. We also make our own sourdough granola, Mr Smiley's Breakfast Biscuits (dog biscuits named after a local dog that comes in every week!) and jams.
